History

The short version

The word Nanofasa is a Latin acronym made from the sentence: Natura non facitsaltus, which means Nature Never Jumps. This is what lays the ground stone of our mission. Nanofasa Conservation trust was established in Norway in 2011, by Aleksandra Ørbeck-Nilssen 24 years old, after she had worked two years in Namibia and volunteered in Botswana.

Our trust is a non-profit trust in Namibia that aims to conserve nature and wildlife and to uplift, empower & up-skill our beneficiaries, the Khoisan communities in the areas of operation, living adjacent to the conservation areas.
